There were actually six sharp drops after the earnings reports. Five of them rose before the report and fell after, while one fell before and continued to fall after.
Out of the 8 earnings reports, 7 showed gains prior to the release. This time is no exception. Will it replicate the majority pattern of the past eight earnings seasons, where a significant drop occurs immediately upon the release?
