The covered call strategy limits potential growth to some extent. From the index call option subscription date to the option expiration date, its growth is capped by the premium received from selling the index call option plus the difference between the settlement price and the cost price. If the index call option expires and the corresponding index market value declines during the option period, the premium received by the Fund from selling the index call option may not be sufficient to offset the losses from the long position.
