Watching $Direxion FTSE China Bear 3X(YANG.US) turn red today, only one thought comes to mind: the long-short switch is so jarring it makes you cringe. If the A-share market continues to decline slowly, I don't know how much more of this I can take from these short ETFs before I start questioning my life.

In contrast, $Microsectors Gold Miners 3x Leveraged ETN(GDXU.US) and $Direxion Daily TSM Bull 2X Shares(TSMX.US) just blew up. Mindlessly adding leverage has been harvesting profits so smoothly lately. It's unbelievable that hot sectors like gold and TSMC could both crash at the same time. I'm speechless. $SPDR Energy Select(XLE.US) has been sluggish all along, lukewarm, more like a zen retirement. I still have some $Global X Copper Miners(COPX.US), but even copper can't hold up. Recently, global commodities have been following China's sentiment, it's too agonizing. I've already learned to let go.
