These past few days have been teetering between annual profit and loss.
My kid wants to sleep with me, making it hard to trade, but I slept well 😊.
Amazon and Microsoft really let me down; most of the floating losses last night were from them.
The logic is clear, but putting it into practice is truly difficult.
Don't keep the 'junk' stocks (that's what Gemini calls my A-shares), it distracts your energy.
Don't look at the purchase price, look at the current trend,
Don't gamble.
I'm guilty of every one!
For me, $Lululemon(LULU.US) is a 'junk' stock. If you don't put in the time, you get no return and lose more and more. I was reluctant to cut losses, and many such thousands of dollars just disappeared.
In the current situation, gambling is indeed highly likely to go to zero. (I am indeed prepared, ready for my March options to expire worthless, sold a small amount)
Finally had one that felt like winning the lottery, $Circle(CRCL.US), (not gambling) originally had a slight profit, didn't sell, and it fell back into loss.
I can only say, I'm really lucky, over 40,000 gone, and it hasn't made me lose much! 🦄
There are many strange things in human thinking and inertia that need to be discovered and overcome.
Still bought some long-dated options for the future.
For MSFT in April, I added a few contracts hoping to profit when it rises next time.
