Held the underlying stock for two days. When the broader market fell by one point, I lost 3000. When the broader market rose by 1.5 points, I only made 1000. No choice, I bottom-fished the wrong stock. Gold, silver, copper, aluminum, storage, crypto, even the old man's stocks, there are tons of money-making opportunities, tons of 10% swings. Yet I had to buy platinum. It barely moved a point when everything else surged yesterday, and it plummeted pre-market today. It can't keep up when things are rising, but it falls harder than anything else when they drop. I'm just numb. Out of the dozens of stocks in my watchlist, most have rebounded violently, and I somehow managed to pick the few that are still falling. My stock-picking skills are just too brilliant.
