$Micron Tech(MU.US)$Sandisk(SNDK.US)

Micron's price movement is closely linked to NVIDIA's today. Before the earnings report, it's still a battle between bulls and bears, with volatility as the main theme. I think the main reason for the divergence from SanDisk's trend here should be the concerns coming from SK Hynix. High-end HBM chips should earn excess profits, but the production of HBM squeezes the output of conventional memory like NAND, leading to a surge in the price and profits of conventional storage, which in turn surpasses HBM that requires heavy R&D investment, creating a paradox. As a result, the price of the company that controls (or only does) basic flash memory (referred to as "迪子") rises. Here, KIOXIA is also an assist for "迪子". Stable production is the cornerstone for future memory competition.
