It dropped from 78 to 30, hitting a new low. I couldn't resist and bought 160 shares as a lottery ticket, hoping it won't be like FIG. Back then, I also bought over a hundred shares as a lottery ticket when it dropped to 30, only for it to fall further to 20..
My approach to small-cap stocks is purely speculative. Missing out on gains by selling early isn't a pity; stopping a loss is the painful part. If there's a big rebound before the earnings report, I'm out. Small-cap stocks are all about sentiment. Their fundamentals are unclear, leading to wild price swings. Playing with small-caps requires a speculative mindset. Don't get emotionally attached like falling for a prostitute. Forget about value investing. Talk about value investing only after you've made enough profit to be indifferent to price fluctuations.
