Bottom-fishing Boeing, Boeing plummeted. Bottom-fishing platinum, while silver and gold both surged, only platinum plummeted. Trading Tesla both ways, Tesla has big fluctuations almost every day, but it just moved sideways in a narrow range yesterday. The strategies that used to work are now useless. The reason I didn't use them before was because the option premiums were expensive; the reason I'm using them now is because the premiums are cheap. As a result, the market makers have a perfect grasp of psychology. When premiums are high, the stock will fluctuate wildly; when premiums are narrow, it won't fluctuate. It really feels like market manipulation.
