On the first trading day of the Year of the Horse, my first trade is to continue adding to my position 📈 in the S&P 500 ETF.
I started dollar-cost averaging into the Nasdaq and S&P last year. The logic is simple—I believe in the country's future and the power of time. Although many say U.S. stocks are at high levels, looking back, every pullback has been an opportunity. While expectations for interest rate cuts are volatile, corporate earnings remain strong, and the AI wave continues.
This trade isn't chasing highs; it's about discipline. February historically sees a "red envelope rally." Southbound capital continues to flow into Hong Kong stocks, and U.S. stocks are hovering near all-time highs. Rather than trying to time the market, it's better to stay invested.
My strategy: Keep dollar-cost averaging without trying to guess the top. Add on dips and hold during rallies. For the Year of the Horse, I'm not seeking to get rich quick, just steady and solid progress.
