Don't buy counterfeit coins

Why do I only talk about Bitcoin and not altcoins? Because in the crypto world, most people can't outperform Bitcoin's gains.

During the same period, Bitcoin only dropped by 15%. When Bitcoin just sneezes from a cold, altcoins bleed like rivers. Why? Because everyone recognizes Bitcoin but not altcoins.

Bitcoin is like iron, altcoins are like flowing water. Most altcoins can't escape the fate of going to zero.

Some people think Bitcoin is too expensive and are afraid to buy. Many crypto newbies have this misconception.

Bitcoin is fundamentally different from other financial assets because its value comes from consensus. What is consensus? It's when everyone thinks it's valuable, it becomes valuable.

Let me ask you this: When buying jewelry, would you rather buy gold or silver? Would you buy silver just because it's cheaper than gold?

So there's a reason why it's expensive. You just don't understand why it's so expensive—that's your problem, not the asset's.

Years ago, I also traded altcoins but later found that the returns couldn't beat Bitcoin. It's like stock trading—if your random picks can't outperform the index, you might as well just buy the index.

So in crypto, the only major position you should have is Bitcoin—no other options. I wouldn't even buy Ethereum. Avoid altcoins and derivatives, and you'll outperform 90% of people in crypto.

There's only one reason you're in crypto: to earn more Bitcoin. Even if you buy altcoins, it's to make money to convert into more Bitcoin.
