European auto market | Italy November 2025: BYD, Chery and Leapmotor surge

Italy's new car sales in November reached 124,222 units, down only 0.04% year-on-year. Cumulative sales for the first 11 months were 1.453 million units, down 2.43%.
Hybrid remains the mainstream powertrain, while traditional fuel vehicles saw a significant decline in market share. Chinese automakers performed very well, with sales exceeding 15,000 units.
In November, about 9 Chinese brands entered the list, including MG, BYD, Leapmotor, Omoda+Jetour, Lynk & Co, and Dongfeng Xiaokang. The total monthly sales of Chinese brands reached about 16,000 units, with a market share of about 12%, close to the overall level of Korean brands.
Summary: Chinese brands performed well.
