Although the proportion of U.S. companies' production capacity layout in China is limited overall, on a global scale, China remains the most important production center for high-end manufacturing in electronics, home appliances, textiles, and other fields. The proportion of global companies' production capacity in these industries in China is as high as 30% or more. Leading U.S. companies such as Apple and Intel, due to their high dependence on Chinese production capacity or markets, have been included in the U.S. tariff exemption list.
