Recently, XtalPi Holdings Limited ("XtalPi Holdings Limited", stock abbreviation: XtalPi Holdings Limited-P, XTALPI-P,$XTALPI(2228.HK)) signed a cooperation agreement with Shanghai Qicai Zhixin Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qicai Zhixin"). The two companies will leverage Qicai Zhixin's existing plant genome variation sequence and phenotype library on the CyberplantX platform, combined with XtalPi Holdings Limited's mature AI protein design platform, to jointly create a "smart evolution engine" for plants. This aims to achieve rapid and targeted breeding research and development, fostering the next generation of safe, stress-resistant, green, and economical super crops to address the escalating challenges of climate change. Through this collaboration, the two companies hope to lead the transformation of botanical research from biotechnology (BioTech) to tech-driven biology (TechBio), opening new avenues for high-quality agricultural development in China and globally, while jointly advancing the commercialization of this technology.
