About the trading costs of Hong Kong stocks:

Having been asked several times about the trading costs of Hong Kong stocks, I will give a simple example to provide everyone with an intuitive assessment when engaging in short-term trading:

A buy order of 10,000 shares of $NONGFU SPRING(09633.HK) at 35.35, as shown in the image below, has a total transaction amount of approximately: 353,500 HKD.

The total trading cost is approximately: 430 HKD, of which 415 HKD goes to the Hong Kong government and other institutions. The approximate trading cost ratio is: 430/353500 = 0.12%.

Considering that a complete buy-sell transaction involves both sides, the trading cost would double, making it 0.25%. Rounding it to 0.3%. Therefore, in principle, if the order amount is slightly larger, if your trading spread is above 0.5%, you will not incur a loss. I generally feel happy to sell when it is above 1%
