First, position sizing > being right. Even “safe” names can drop hard when macro hits, so going heavy on dip buys too early just traps you.
Second, don’t rush the bottom. That bounce looked convincing, but without trend confirmation (no higher highs, still under MAs), it was just a tradeable rally.
Best takeaway: scale in slowly, wait for structure. Catching exact bottoms sounds nice, but usually just means catching falling knives.
