
US senators from both major parties are working on a bill to block Nvidia from selling advanced chips to China for 30 months as part of efforts to keep American AI technology out of Beijing’s hands, the FT reports, noting The Secure and Feasible Export Chips Act would prevent Nvidia from selling H200s or Blackwells to China.
