Market Chatter: Singtel to Sell $1 Billion Worth of Shares in Bharti Airtel
Singtel is expected to dispose of shares around $1 billion in Bharti Airtel through block deals, Business Standard reported Thursday, citing sources. The Singaporean telco plans to sell around 47.6 million shares at 1,800 Indian rupees per share, which represents a 3.6% discount on the stock's latest closing price, the report noted.
