Wonder if Qualcomm and Arm headed for another round of legal battle after Alphawave closure. Alphawave works closely with Arm on CPU chiplets. Whatever problems occurred with Nuvia could repeat. Also, Qualcomm probably has to continue existing Alphawave business model for sometime without abruptly shutting down IP offerings to 3rd parties. QCOM CEO recently indicated no near to medium term upside due to DC.

Alphawave, an IP and fabless company, has 100+ customers and $308M revenue at 59% GM in FY24 (revised downwards later from $355M guidance). $450M guidance for FY25 withheld. $1B+ revenue target by 2025. Involved in IP licensing, custom silicon, chiplets, and connectivity IP. 85% of revenue from DC. 18% China exposure.
