SK Hynix hit a snag with its main supplier of TC bonders, key equipment in the production of AI memory chips called HBM, media report, as Hanmi Semiconductor raised prices 25%, recalled 50-60 workers from SK Hynix’s HBM production lines, after SK Hynix ordered TC bonders from a rival Hanmi has filed several lawsuits against, including alleged patent infringement.
