
Samsung Electronics has won approval to extend work hours for in South Korea for R&D personnel to up to 64-hours per week for 3-months, then 60-hours per week the following 3-months, exceeding the statutory 52-hour workweek, media report, adding new regulations allow overtime for 6-months at a time, with a 1-time 6-month extension.
