Recently, at the Wuzhen Health Conference, Meituan Medical and Health officially launched its AI Family Health Butler, "Xiaotuan Health Butler".

According to Meituan, this is an AI entry point integrating symptom inquiry, medication consultation, report interpretation, and family health records, primarily designed to meet the health management needs of the whole family while supporting image/text recognition and multi-member profile creation.

Notably, "Xiaotuan Health Butler" is not merely a Q&A tool; it has achieved a transactional closed loop where users can "ask and then act."

In actual tests by All-Weather Technology, after a user submitted the query "headache," the AI butler asked further questions about specific symptoms to assess the condition before ultimately providing a medication solution.

Upon clicking the medicine purchase link, users can see various drug combination options offered by numerous physical pharmacies in their area for selection.

This represents a key advantage distinguishing "Xiaotuan Health Butler" from other AI assistants.

Meituan boasts an extensive network of partner pharmacies, allowing users to freely choose which pharmacy to order from based on distance, price, and personal preferences.

"We aim to launch Xiaotuan Health Butler based on an AI agent that can connect our online and offline services. It will not only provide medication guidance but also guide users toward online consultations and access to offline medical institutions," said Li Dawei, Product Head of Meituan's Medical and Health Division.

However, Meituan's ambitions extend beyond this.

The Meituan AI Health Butler also features a family health record function, supporting multi-member profiles and offering services such as medication reminders and medicine cabinet management.

Previously, users would search for and purchase medicines on Meituan only when they fell ill. Now, through functions like health checkup report interpretation and pediatric medication management, Meituan aims to transform the low-frequency activity of "treating illness and buying medicine" into the high-frequency practice of "family health management."

Overall, the launch of Meituan's AI Health Butler represents a pragmatic implementation within the wave of medical large models, targeting the commercial pre-stage of "seeking doctors and medicines" and turning large model capabilities into a "super buyer" within the local life service ecosystem.
