Microsoft Corp. has shifted its artificial intelligence (AI) sales strategy, moving from offering it for free as part of software bundles to selling a paid version of Copilot. The company's leadership has set "quite grand and bold goals" for selling Copilot for the quarter ending in March and has established ambitious targets for paid Copilot subscriptions for the current quarter.
