The NASDAQ Golden Dragon China Index initially closed up 0.8%. Among popular Chinese concept stocks, Weride initially closed up 9.2%, XPeng and NIO rose 7.1%, BYD and Alibaba rose over 3%, Li Auto rose 2.5%, Tencent, Xiaomi, and JD.com rose up to 1.7%, while CSI Solar fell 7.7%.
