Three departments hold a symposium for new energy vehicle industry enterprises: resolutely resist disorderly "price wars"
On January 14th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the State Administration for Market Regulation held a symposium for enterprises in the new energy vehicle industry, emphasizing the need to resist disorderly "price wars" and promote a fair competitive market order. The meeting called for strengthening supervision and law enforcement efforts to maintain the market environment and promote high-quality development of the automotive industry
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Equipment Industry Division, the National Development and Reform Commission Industry Development Division, and the State Administration for Market Regulation Price Supervision and Inspection and Anti-Unfair Competition Bureau (hereinafter referred to as the three departments) jointly held a symposium for enterprises in the new energy vehicle industry to deploy work related to regulating the competitive order of the new energy vehicle industry. Responsible comrades from the Equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Automobile Industry Association, and 17 key automobile enterprises participated in the meeting. The meeting required in-depth implementation of the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, adherence to innovation-driven and quality-first principles, resolute resistance to disorderly "price wars," and promotion of the establishment of a market order characterized by quality and fair competition. The three departments will further strengthen work coordination, enhance cost investigation and price monitoring, increase regulatory and law enforcement efforts, strengthen supervision and inspection of product production consistency, and seriously deal with violations of laws and regulations by enterprises in accordance with the law, maintaining a fair and orderly market environment and promoting high-quality development of the automobile industry.
