In addition to showcasing hard technology, TCL will set up TCLArt and sports IP exhibition areas to convey its cultural IP philosophy and, as an official partner of the NFL, invite legendary players to interact with fans.
TCL has been laying out its globalization strategy for many years. After 25 years of going global, TCL adheres to the "globalization + localization" strategy, deeply integrating into local markets and promoting localized operations overseas.
Taking North America as an example, TCL has established a research and development center in Silicon Valley, expanded its MOKA production base in Mexico, built a new MASA production base in Mexico, and launched the TCL tv+ streaming entertainment service. This deep localization strategy has enabled TCL to achieve significant results in the North American market.
Based on continuous product technology innovation and a firm localization strategy, TCL's business has spread to over 160 countries and regions worldwide, achieving global leadership in major product areas. In the first three quarters of 2024, TCL's global TV shipments reached 20.01 million units, ranking among the top two globally; in the North American market, TCL's TV shipments increased by 27.5% year-on-year, ranking second in the United States.
Currently, TCL has established 46 research and development centers globally, and over the past six years, TCL has invested more than 60 billion yuan in research and development, applying for 112,469 patents, including 18,567 PCT patents. In the field of quantum dot electroluminescent displays, TCL ranks second globally in the number of patent applications, demonstrating its strength in cutting-edge technology.
With the opening of CES 2025 approaching, TCL will not only showcase its latest achievements in display technology and smart home sectors but will also prove the innovation capabilities and global competitiveness of Chinese technology companies to the world through its globalization strategy
