On December 3rd, Tenpay Payment Technology Co., Ltd. issued a risk warning regarding the prevention of counterfeit "WeChat Tap Payment" agency franchise. Recently, the company received feedback that some institutions have been posting demonstrations and agency franchise information related to "WeChat Tap Payment" and "WeChat Tap Once Payment" on various internet platforms. To prevent merchants and partners from suffering losses due to such information, WeChat Pay hereby solemnly declares that WeChat Pay has not launched any so-called "Tap Payment" related products. The products, agency activities, franchise services, etc. described in such information are not official products or activities launched by WeChat Pay. At the same time, WeChat Pay and Tenpay have never authorized any institution or individual to conduct investment promotion activities under the name of "WeChat Tap Payment," nor have they allowed any institution or individual to charge franchise fees, agency fees, or deposits in any form under the pretext of providing or assisting in handling such services
