Chen Li, the director of the Huatai Securities Research Institute, has been transferred to the position of Party Secretary of Nanfang Fund, while Zhang Jiqiang, the deputy director, has taken over her position. Zhang Jiqiang holds a Master's degree in Quantitative Economics from Fudan University, previously worked at CICC, and was promoted to deputy director of the research institute after joining Huatai. Chen Li, who holds a Master's degree in Law, has held multiple positions at Huatai Securities. Nanfang Fund is a top fund management company controlled by Huatai Securities, with a first-half operating income exceeding 3.4 billion RMB and a net profit of approximately 1.036 billion RMB
According to a report from the Shanghai Securities News, Chen Li, the director of the Huatai Securities Research Institute, has officially been transferred to the position of Secretary of the Southern Fund Party Committee. Zhang Jiqiang, the deputy director of the Huatai Securities Research Institute, head of macro research, and chief of fixed income, will take over as the director.
The newly appointed director of the Huatai Securities Research Institute, Zhang Jiqiang, holds a master's degree in quantitative economics from Fudan University.
He previously worked at CICC, engaging in fixed income research, and served as the head of fixed income research and managing director at CICC.
In October 2018, he joined the Huatai Securities Research Institute. Prior to his appointment as director, he held positions as deputy director of the institute, head of macro research, chief of fixed income, and managing director.
Zhang Jiqiang has led his team to win the New Fortune Best Analyst award multiple times and was awarded the "New Fortune Platinum Analyst" in 2021.
Additionally, due to his participation in the variety show "Shining You" as a mentor, he has gained popularity for breaking out of his professional circle.
Chen Li, who has been transferred to the Secretary of the Southern Fund Party Committee, graduated from Nanjing University with a bachelor's degree in law and a master's degree in civil and commercial law. She has held various positions such as the general manager of the Huatai Securities Shenzhen Mintian Road branch, general manager of the Shenzhen Yitian Road branch, and deputy director of the Huatai Research Institute.
Since January 2017, she has served as a supervisor at Huatai Futures; since February 2018, she has been a director at Huatai Financial Holdings (Hong Kong); and since January 2019, she has been the director of the Huatai Research Institute.
The Southern Fund is held by Huatai Securities, with a business income of over 3.4 billion yuan in the first half of the year and a net profit of approximately 1.036 billion yuan, making it one of the leading fund management companies in the industry
