Hao Cheng officially took office as the President of CEB Bank. His qualifications for the position have been approved by the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission. On the afternoon of August 27, China Everbright Bank Co., Ltd. (referred to as CEB Bank) announced that it had recently received the "Reply from the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission on the Qualifications of Hao Cheng as Director and President of CEB Bank" (Jin Fu [2024] No. 550). The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission approved the qualifications of Hao Cheng as Director and President of CEB Bank on August 23, 2024.
In July, CEB Bank announced that the Board of Directors had agreed to appoint Hao Cheng as the President of CEB Bank. Hao Cheng's appointment as President took effect from the date when his qualifications were approved by the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission.
Hao Cheng has been serving as the Secretary of the Party Committee of CEB Bank since June 2024. He is currently a member of the Party Committee of China Everbright Group Co., Ltd.
He has previously served as a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Tianjin Branch of the China Development Bank, Deputy Director of the Personnel Department and Deputy Minister of the Party Committee Organization Department of the China Development Bank, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Jilin Branch of the China Development Bank, and a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Bank of Communications. He holds a Doctor of Management degree and is a senior engineer
