iPhone reported abnormal temperature and paused charging, Apple customer service responded
Recently, several iPhone users have posted that they frequently encounter the iPhone prompting abnormal device temperature and pausing charging, resulting in the inability to fully charge the phone. In response, Apple customer service explained that if the device has the "Battery Health" feature enabled, there is a self-protection mechanism. When the device detects abnormal charging, it will automatically switch to trickle charging, reaching a maximum of 80%; if it detects a temperature that is too high, charging will stop if it exceeds the abnormal value. If you need to charge the battery to 100%, you can disable the "Battery Health" feature. Apple customer service mentioned that in summer, there are more reports of abnormal charging temperatures, which are related to both iPhone temperature and environmental temperature. It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight or environmental light as much as possible
