Tencent Holdings Limited announced that as of June 30, 2024, within the six months, the company repurchased a total of 154,730,000 shares on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong for a total consideration of approximately HKD 52.3 billion. The repurchased shares have since been cancelled. The buyback was aimed at enhancing shareholder value in the long term
