A source close to JD's senior management revealed that JD will continue to increase the investment in the billion-yuan subsidy, with additional special subsidies all used to support the beauty category, including all categories of beauty products from self-operated and third-party merchants, all of which can enjoy the billion-yuan subsidy. According to calculations, after the new round of subsidy investment, consumers purchasing beauty products with JD's billion-yuan subsidy are expected to enjoy at least a 10% additional discount. JD has not responded to this yet. It is reported that in April this year, JD's billion-yuan subsidy increased its investment in the beauty category and launched a beauty gift promotion.
