JPMorgan Chase's trading department believes that the market's rotation from the technology sector may have "essentially completed," and "we are approaching" tactical buying opportunities on dips. The pace of retail investors buying stocks has rapidly slowed down, commodity trading advisors have significantly reduced their positions in various stock areas, and hedge funds have net sold US stocks. "Overall, we believe that tactical buying opportunities on dips are approaching, and our tactical positioning monitoring indicators may further decline in the coming days," wrote John Schlegel, head of JPMorgan Chase's positioning intelligence, in a report to clients on Monday
