Apple becomes the target of anti-monopoly investigation in Spain due to App Store issues
The National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC), Spain's antitrust regulator, has launched an investigation into Apple Inc.'s competitive practices. In an email statement on Wednesday, CNMC commented that Apple may be imposing unfair commercial terms on developers who distribute applications to users through its Apple App Store. If confirmed, such behavior could be considered a serious violation and may face sanctions of up to 10% of its global annual turnover. CNMC now has two years to complete this investigation
