On June 28th local time, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced that following the completion of the fourth review of Ukraine's four-year, $15.6 billion loan program, its Executive Board approved the disbursement of $2.2 billion to Ukraine for budget support. It is reported that the IMF has revised down its growth forecast for Ukraine's GDP in 2024 to between 2.5% and 3.5%. The IMF pointed out that due to damage to Ukraine's electricity infrastructure during the conflict, consumer and business confidence continues to deteriorate. (CCTV News)
