Pre-market trading of the three major US stock index futures is mixed, with Adobe up nearly 15%, crude oil falling, and gold and silver rising
Before the U.S. stock market opens, the three major futures indices are mixed. Adobe's second-quarter performance is positive, raising its full-year performance guidance. NVIDIA and Tesla are up more than 1%. Most popular Chinese concept stocks are trading lower before the market opens. The yield on the U.S. 10-year Treasury bond is slightly lower. European stocks are collectively weaker, with the Euro falling below 1.07 against the U.S. dollar for the first time since May 2. Crude oil is trending lower, while gold and silver are trending higher
On Friday, June 14th, before the US stock market opened, the futures of the three major stock indexes showed mixed movements. Dow futures fell by 0.46%, S&P 500 index futures fell by 0.19%, and Nasdaq 100 index futures rose by 0.13%.
Adobe rose nearly 15% in pre-market trading, with strong performance in the second quarter and an upward revision of full-year performance guidance. Among the "Seven Sisters" of US stocks, NVIDIA and Tesla rose by over 1%.
Most popular Chinese concept stocks fell in pre-market trading, with Nio up by 0.23%, XPeng down by 0.27%, Li Auto down by 2.26%, Alibaba down by 1.2%, and NetEase down by 0.25%.
Slight Decline in US 10-Year Treasury Yield
US Treasury bonds rose, with the 10-year Treasury yield falling by 0.38% intraday to 4.224%.
Weakness in European Stocks
Germany's DAX30 index is currently down by 0.52%, the UK's FTSE 100 index is down by 0.19%, France's CAC40 index is down by 1.33%, and the Euro Stoxx 50 index is down by 0.78%.
Euro Continues to Decline Against the US Dollar
The euro against the US dollar fell below 1.07 for the first time since May 2nd, with an intraday decline of 0.41%. Germany's 10-year bond yield fell by 8 basis points to a two-month low of 2.39%.
Crude Oil Slightly Down
WTI crude oil fell by 0.61% during the day, closing at $77.78 per barrel. Brent crude oil fell by 0.53% during the day, closing at $82.31 per barrel.
Gold and Silver Rise, Copper Price Falls
Spot gold rose slightly, up 0.64% during the day, now at $2318.63 per ounce.
Spot silver rose by 0.59% during the day, now at $29.13 per ounce.
London copper futures fell by 0.06% during the day, closing at $9789 per ton.
Bitcoin Slightly Up
Bitcoin rose by 1.09% during the day, now at $67188.2 per coin.
