May Electric Vehicle Delivery Report: NIO and ZEEKR hit record highs, XPeng returns to the era of over 10,000 deliveries! Xiaomi SU7 delivers over 8,600 units

In the festive atmosphere of Children's Day, the domestic electric vehicle delivery report for May has been released.

According to the published report, Li Auto ranked first in "NIO, XPeng, Li" with a delivery of over 35,000 vehicles, NIO rebounded strongly with a delivery of over 20,000 vehicles in May, reaching a historical high. XPeng's delivery data was also good, breaking ten thousand for the first time this year.

The rising star Xiaomi SU7 delivered over 8,600 vehicles in May, which was quite impressive among its peers. ZEEKR maintained a high-speed growth momentum, doubling its delivery in May year-on-year, also setting a historical high.

Nezha Auto fell behind, with a more than 20% year-on-year decline in May.

NIO's May Deliveries Rebound to Over 20,000, Setting a Historical High

In May, NIO delivered 20,544 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 233.8% and a month-on-month increase of 31.5%, setting a historical high. From January to May this year, NIO delivered 66,217 new vehicles, a 51% year-on-year increase. As of now, NIO has delivered a total of 515,811 new vehicles.

Li Auto Delivered 35,020 Vehicles in May, a 23.8% Year-on-Year Increase

Li Auto announced its May 2024 delivery data. In May 2024, Li Auto delivered 35,020 new vehicles, a 23.8% year-on-year increase.

As of May 31, 2024, Li Auto has delivered a total of 774,571 vehicles. Since the delivery of the Li ONE on April 24, 2024, over 15,000 vehicles have been delivered, setting the fastest record for a new model delivery by Li Auto.

Xiaomi SU7 Delivered 8,630 Vehicles in May, Aiming for 10,000 Deliveries in June

At the Future Car Developers Conference, Xiaomi Chairman Lei Jun announced that Xiaomi SU7 delivered 8,630 vehicles in May, with over 15,000 vehicles delivered since its launch. In June, production will shift to double shifts to ensure a monthly delivery of 10,000 vehicles.

Lei Jun also revealed that in May, the smart driving activation rate of Xiaomi SU7 was 83.18%, with a smart driving mileage of 3.6286 million kilometers.

XPeng Achieved Over 10,000 Deliveries for the First Time This Year

XPeng delivered 10,146 vehicles in May, a 35% year-on-year increase and an 8% month-on-month increase. This is also the first time XPeng has exceeded 10,000 deliveries this year; the total deliveries so far this year have reached 41,360, a 26% year-on-year increase.

SAIC-GM-Wuling's May deliveries doubled year-on-year

SAIC-GM-Wuling delivered 7,443 new energy vehicles in May, a 214% year-on-year increase.

In May, SAIC Group sold 81,000 new energy vehicles. From January to May, SAIC Group sold 365,000 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of over 27%.

ZEEKR hits another historical high in May

ZEEKR delivered 18,616 new cars in May, a 115% year-on-year increase and a 16% increase from the previous month, setting another historical high. The cumulative deliveries have exceeded 260,000 units so far.

Nio's May deliveries decline by over 20% year-on-year

Nio delivered a total of 10,113 vehicles in May, a 12.15% increase from April's 9,017 units, but a 22.38% decrease from May last year's 13,029 units.

In addition, the Nio L pure electric version, starting at a presale price of 140,000 RMB, is expected to begin deliveries in July.

Leapmotor delivers 18,000 vehicles, Voyah's cumulative deliveries double in the first five months

According to Leapmotor's Weibo, Leapmotor delivered 18,165 vehicles in May, with the SUV twin stars C11 and C10 delivering 11,992 units, setting a historical high.

Voyah announced that it delivered 4,521 vehicles in May 2024, a 51% year-on-year increase; the cumulative sales from January to May reached 24,869 units, a 107% year-on-year increase
