The first wave of sales will directly start at 8 p.m. on May 20th.

In addition, for merchants, Tmall 618 this year has simplified the registration process, allowing eligible merchants to directly register their products; for consumers, Taobao Tmall has also introduced a series of measures such as full-price protection to make shopping simple and secure for consumers.

Specifically, there are three major changes in this year's Tmall 618:

Simplified Sales Process

After canceling the presale, this year's Tmall 618 will have two waves of spot sales, with the first wave starting at 8 p.m. on May 20th and the second wave starting at 8 p.m. on May 31st.

It is worth mentioning that during the two sales periods, Taobao Tmall will open multiple marketing venues for different types of merchants, and help merchants grow their business through methods such as discounts, super flash sales, and surprise price reductions.

Simplified Merchant Participation

This year's Tmall 618 will simplify the process for merchants to participate, with no separate registration process. Eligible merchants can directly enter the product registration process (specific process: sign agreement - set main gameplay - product registration). Starting from May 6th, Taobao Tmall will open product registration for both waves of official activities.

Simplified Shopping for Consumers

During this year's Tmall 618, Taobao Tmall will upgrade price protection to make shopping simple and secure for consumers. In addition to controlling price increases and decreases, Tmall supports full-price protection for products purchased from payment until July 5th.

Furthermore, during 618, Taobao Tmall will launch multiple initiatives such as free shipping for promotional products, providing shipping insurance, requiring products to be in stock, and continuously enhancing the shopping experience for consumers during the promotion period.

Preheating period: From 12:00 a.m. on May 29th to 7:59:59 p.m. on May 31st

Official sales: From 8:00:00 p.m. on May 31st to 11:59:59 p.m. on June 20th
