Retail investors' stronghold Reddit made its debut yesterday, ranking first in popularity. It surged by 70% at one point during the trading session, but closed at 48.35%, with a market value of $8 billion. Currently, social media stocks like SNAP and PINS are not highly valued. It is worth observing whether Reddit can continue its upward trend.
Chip stocks continue to be popular, with a general rise overnight. Among them, memory chip stock Micron Technology (MU) reported earnings that exceeded expectations, leading to a 14% surge in stock price and driving peers like Western Digital and SK Hynix (Korean stock) to rise significantly.
Apple ranks fourth in popularity and faced antitrust scrutiny, resulting in a 4% drop overnight.
Nike ranks fifth in popularity, with performance guidance below expectations. It fell by over 6.5% in pre-market trading. Nike expects a low single-digit decline in revenue for the first half of the year. LULU, which announced its financial report on the same day as Nike, also underperformed, dropping by 12% in pre-market trading.
Trump-related stock DWAC ranks sixth in popularity and is purely a market speculation company.
Tesla ranks 13th in popularity, dropping nearly 4% in pre-market trading. According to Bloomberg, due to the slowdown in electric vehicle sales growth, Tesla is reportedly cutting its car production in the Chinese market, once again sparking concerns about fierce competition and market demand.
Notably, Nvidia's exclusive liquid cooling supplier Vertiv hit a new all-time high. Vertiv Holdings (VRT) rose by 5.5% overnight, reaching a new all-time high, with a year-to-date increase of 71%. Since the low point in 2022, the stock price has increased by up to 10 times.
At the Nvidia GTC conference, CEO Jensen Huang pointed out that Nvidia is collaborating with leading power and cooling infrastructure equipment supplier Vertiv to create effective cooling solutions for customers.
